Giacomo Moor

Born in Milan, Italy, in 1981. After high school he studied design at Politecnico University in Milan, where he graduated with Beppe Finessi, on a thesis about wood, published in Abitare (Valuable Defects: Cabinetmaking between sculpture and design, 2009); in the meantime he worked in an artisan shop. He learned the wood-working trade and once he graduated he reconciled his newly concluded studies with his passion for wood and its elaboration. He designs and creates unique, custom pieces and limited series for private clients, architects and companies in his workshop in via Padova, in addition to collaborating with various design brands such as EnvironmentFurniture, Ilide, Memphis. He lives in Milan with his partner, his two daughters Viola and Costanza and his son Tommaso.
