David Dolcini was born in Italy, near Milan. His vision and approach to design comes from a whole variety of educational and professional experiences abroad over a number of years. After finishing his studies at Milan Polytechnic in 2004, he entered the world of design as a project manager for Luceplan. After gaining experience in China, where he worked for A00-Architecture in Shanghai, he returned to Italy and opened a firm of his own in 2007. Some of his works have been selected exhibitions in Italy and abroad: Modefabriek in Amsterdam, Design Festival Ludz in Ludz (PL). In 2009 his MOD furniture system, designed for Galassia, was selected for I.DOT award.In 2012 he opened a new office in Valencia, Spain. David Dolcini Studio deals primarily with interiors, industrial design, exhibit design, graphic design, art direction and communication.
It collaborates with companies such as Panasonic, Riva1920, Galassia, Toss.B, Arlex Italia, to name a few.
Giacomo Moor was born in Milan, Italy, in 1981. After high school he studied design at Politecnico University in Milan, where he graduated with Beppe Finessi, on a thesis about wood, published in Abitare (Valuable Defects: Cabinetmaking between sculpture and design, 2009); in the meantime he worked in an artisan shop. He learned the wood-working trade and once he graduated he reconciled his newly concluded studies with his passion for wood and its elaboration. He designs and creates unique, custom pieces and limited series for private clients, architects and companies in his workshop in via Padova, in addition to collaborating with various design brands such as EnvironmentFurniture, Ilide, Memphis. He lives in Milan with his partner, his two daughters Viola and Costanza and his son Tommaso.
